ThinkKind Receives 2 Grant Awards for 2015
ThinkKind is honoured to be awarded two grant awards this year to continue our project of promoting humane education in Australia and achieve our vision for humane education in 2015.
ThinkKind was awarded a Voiceless Grant Award by the Voiceless Animal Protection Institute at an awards ceremony held in Sydney on the 10th December 2014. Three volunteer team members were in attendance on the evening, and the award was accepted by ThinkKind’s Head of Operations, Alex Miesch.
ThinkKind was awarded a $6,000 grant to allow our team to redevelop our quarterly magazine, Kind Education, and to assist with the promotion and strengthening of the ThinkKind brand in 2015.
Other Voiceless grant recipients for 2014 included RSPCA Queensland, Animal Liberation NSW, Monash University and Central Queensland University.
In early December 2014, ThinkKind was awarded a second grant from The Pollination Project. The Impact Grant was awarded in recognition of ThinkKind’s work and achievements since establishing in April 2013 with the help of a $1,000 seeding grant awarded in early 2013.
ThinkKind was one of 16 projects selected by the Pollination Project to receive an Impact Grant Award from 140 applicants across the world. The $5,000 grant will go towards developing our Kindness Club Kit and to cover the print and distribution costs of Kind Education magazine in 2015.
