Get Your School Ready for Be Kind to Animals Week 2015!
Got what it takes to be the kindest school?

Brought to you by ThinkKind Australia and Edgar’s Mission farm sanctuary, Be Kind to Animals Week school competition 2015 asks students to do one act that makes the lives of animals better. It’s about inspiring and empowering students to take positive action for animal welfare and protection – and it’s also a great chance to have fun, build essential critical thinking skills and understand the value of empathy, responsibility and active citizenship in our communities!
All Australian primary and secondary schools are eligible to enter. Teachers can register your class, year level, student team or entire school to take part and WIN up to $1000 for your school!
How it works
- Choose a project that demonstrates kindness towards animals or raises awareness about animal issues at your school
- Take a video or image of your project in action
- Submit your entry here before 17 October for your chance to WIN up to $1000 for your school!
Be Kind to Animals Week falls within the last week of school holidays and the first week of Term 4. But you can choose to do your kind act for animals anytime from now until 17 October.
Participation is easy
Register your school to download your free Resource Kit. Choose your project, take a video or image of your great work and submit your entry here before 17 October 2015, 5PM AEST.

Edgar’s Mission is a not for profit sanctuary for rescued farmed animals that seeks to create a humane and just world for humans and non-humans. Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary is set on 153 peaceable acres situated just outside of Lancefield, nestled in the tranquillity of the Macedon Ranges.
